What would you pick if you had the option of paying someone $5,000 or getting put unconscious after losing a game of poker?

Well, one of former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion Chris Weidman's friends chose to go to sleep, and yesterday (Wed., Dec. 19, 2024), Weidman posted the clip on his Instagram.

Weidman wrote, "He Lost in poker last night. It was either pay 5k or get choked unconscious! What do you do?"

It's not a rare occurrence for mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters to choke out fans or friends for fun—just ask this guy.

Nevertheless, Weidman suffered a brutal loss two weeks ago at UFC 310 when he was stopped by Eryk Anders and was subsequently retired by UFC CEO Dana White(watch highlights). The former UFC Middleweight champion has yet to issue a statement about his loss or forced retirement.
