Mike Tyson rages at Floyd Mayweather saying he was better than Muhammad Ali

In his magnificent career, Floyd Mayweather proved himself as one of the very best to ever lace up the gloves.

With tremendous defensive skills, a remarkable boxing IQ and a braggadocious personality, the American captured the imagination of the fans en route to becoming the highest-paid athlete of all time.

However, as brilliant as he was, in the eyes of Mike Tyson, he isn’t in the same league as the iconic Muhammad Ali.

While Mayweather maintained an undefeated record, the late ex-heavyweight champion revolutionized the game.

From his iconic phrases, featuring ‘Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee’, to his incredible rope-a-dope, Ali was the best showman the sport has ever seen.

But he was much more than a mere entertainer, as he proved during his fights with Joe Frazier and George Foreman in ‘The Thrilla in Manila’ and ‘The Rumble in the Jungle’.

According to Tyson, what also set him apart was the way he conducted himself outside of the ring.

In an interview with UCN, the 58-year-old said: “He’s very delusional. Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself.

“OK, he can’t take his kids to school by himself, and he’s talking about he’s great? Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people. It’s being accepted by the people. He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself.

“He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small, scared man.”

With a ruthless peek-a-boo style, Tyson made a reputation for dismantling his opponents in the ring. Utilizing his formidable skills, he bobbed and weaved in front of the target, before unleashing thunderous combinations to send his opponents crashing towards the canvas.

During his career, the New Yorker solidified his status as one of the most terrifying fighters to ever set foot in the squared circle.

With that in mind, the mere thought of Tyson punching them is enough to send most people into a state of complete and utter panic.

But how did Mayweather react when the heavyweight feinted to throw a shot at him?
