Michael Bisping defends Conor McGregor against Jake Paul

Throughout their history, Michael Bisping and Conor McGregor haven’t always seen eye-to-eye.

However, when it comes to Jake Paul, they stand on the same side of the fence, with both admitting that they’re not huge fans of his boxing career.

‘The Notorious’ was so angry, in fact, that following the fight on Saturday, he announced that he’d fired Mike Perry from BKFC.

Over the course of the bout, the UFC veteran showcased tremendous courage but ultimately found himself in deeper waters than he was capable of swimming in, with his opponent proving too big and ultimately too experienced within the squared circle.

Upon hearing the news, Paul tweeted: “1) Mike Perry is a f****** beast and has a lot more balls than that little leprechaun.

“2) Where all those MMA experts at that said Mike Perry was going to end me?”

The lack of respect for a man who’s conquered the UFC in not one, but two weight divisions, rendered Bisping furious, with ‘The Count’ taking to social media to hit back at the crossover boxer.

In a deleted tweet, he posted: “The ‘little leprechaun’ [very original, by the way] is one of the greatest fighters the UFC has ever seen.

“But he also won the featherweight title. Do your thing.

“But please, for f**k sake, stop trying to sound tough.

“Fight a boxer d****** or at least someone your size, bully boy.”

But that wasn’t the only thing the former UFC middleweight champion slated the American for.

Michael Bisping believes Jake Paul looked ‘reckless’ against Mike Perry

From an analytical standpoint, the 45-year-old wasn’t remotely impressed by Paul’s performance.

Having won the British kickboxing championships in his younger years, Bisping knows a thing or two about striking, and in his mind, the Cleveland native’s showing left a lot to be desired.

Not only was he infuriated by the staggering size difference on the night, but he felt Paul lacked basic fundamentals as he launched punches wildly in his bids to separate Perry from his senses.

In an explosive rant on his YouTube channel, Bisping explained exactly what he believes would happen if the 27-year-old set foot inside the ring with a technical boxer.
