Conor McGregor is targeting a return by August-September after his recent toe injury. The injury prevented the Michael Chandler fight from going ahead on June 29 at UFC 303. The toe injury was a huge blow as McGregor was ready for his first appearance since losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021. The anticipation had been building. The live gate for the event set a new UFC record.
