KSI reveals his tactic to get Jake Paul to meet his demands for blockbuster boxing fight

While the influencer world is desperate for a clash between KSI and Jake Paul, the Brit insists the American must meet his demands to make the match-up happen.

The pair of online stars have emerged as two of the best crossover boxers on the scene.

Since the very first influencer boxing match, KSI and Jake Paul have been tied to one another.

After emerging victorious against Joe Weller, the Nigerian-born star called out ‘The Problem Child’ before ultimately facing off with his brother Logan Paul.

Following two razor-close fights, KSI came away with the bragging rights, leaving a bout with Jake the obvious fight to make next.

Sadly, they failed to make it happen. The Englishman embarked on his music career, while Paul started testing his skills against MMA fighters.

However, several years later, the fans still cling to hope that the match-up could one day get made.

At one point in time, Paul looked far to advanced for his rival, but after KSI put up a better fight against Tommy Fury than he did, public opinion leveled out, with many thinking ‘The Nightmare’ could catch his nemesis with one of the wild shots he’s become synonymous for throwing.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, in order to find out for sure, the pair need to get in the ring and exchange leather. Alas, they can’t agree on terms.

However, KSI now claims that rather than being open to conversations at the negotiation table, he’s going to bide his time and let the Cleveland fighter come to him.

He told The High Performance Podcast: “I think for me and Jake, you never know what could happen in the future, but I feel like there’s this competitiveness between us, where he thinks he can beat me, I think I could beat him, and it’s just been unresolved.

“I guess me and Logan, we had that, but then we created Prime. Everyone has been waiting for the fight between me and Jake. But, it’s one of them ones where he is too heavy, I’m too light, and we’re just not agreeing.

“But, I’m at a point where I’m gonna wait. I’m at a point where I don’t need to chase. I can just wait it out. Eventually, he has to come to my weight. Eventually, he has to come and say, ‘What’s up’?”

While the pair are no closer to a showdown than they ever have been, Paul is keeping busy, going head-to-head with Mike Tyson in a controversial super fight.

While the boxing world shakes in disgust at the all time great facing off with a man he would’ve beat comfortably in his prime, the bout will undoubtedly do huge numbers on Netflix.

Unsurprisingly, KSI has chimed in to give his verdict on the match-up.

It goes without saying that the YouTuber didn’t have anything positive to say, going on a vicious rant aimed at his nemesis.
