Jon Jones has posted an angry response after Tom Aspinall accused him of being the ‘Champion of Fight Dodging’.

While the world desperately craves a match-up between the undisputed and interim heavyweight title holders, ‘Bones’ has shown little interest in a showdown.

Tom Aspinall brands Jon Jones a ‘fight dodger’

Having exhibited fighting prowess in abundance, Tom Aspinall has done everything a mixed martial artist needs to do to earn his shot at the UFC championship.

Alas, Jon Jones has refused to acknowledge these accomplishments and has instead insisted that he’d rather fight Stipe Miocic.

While the Cleveland native has undeniably cemented his place in MMA folklore, having not fought since a horrifying loss to Francis Ngannou back in 2021, most feel the Brit would be far more deserving of a shot.

Thus, with Jones currently dismissing the idea of giving Aspinall the opportunity, the Englishman has taken it upon himself to start firing shots at the icon at every opportunity.

In a recent interview with SportBIBLE, the heavyweight titan was asked who the ‘Fight Dodging Champion’ is. And, of course, Aspinall only had one answer.

He laughed: “That would have to be Jon Jones. We know he’s trying to fight old man Stipe. So, he’s the fight dodger around here.”

The interviewer then said: “Hopefully, he doesn’t dodge it against you,” to which Aspinall replied: “He’s definitely going to.”

Jon Jones rages at Tom Aspinall over being called a ‘fight dodger’

The remarks rendered Jones furious, with the creative fighter taking to the comment section to leave a rather explicit post.

He raged: "This dude literally has my large black c**k in his mouth every week. I'm flattered. I absolutely guarantee he will not win more world championships than me.

“That's truly all that matters at the end of the day. There's been many champions, no one like me. I sleep good at night."

With the feud marinating nicely, the MMA community can only hope that one day, the two giants agree to settle their differences in the cage.
