Jon Jones mocks Tom Aspinall, dismisses future fight possibility

As unflattering training footage surfaced, Jon Jones was quick to bash Tom Aspinall and show his disinterest in fighting the UFC interim champion once again.
Since moving up to heavyweight and making quick work of Ciryl Gane, 'Bones' has had his heart set on a legacy fight. The consensus greatest of all time is trying to conquer his new weight class by luring the division's record-setter back into the cage, but that choice has left many unimpressed.
One man who believes he deserves a blockbuster clash with Jon Jones is the seemingly unstoppable Tom Aspinall.
The Brit has been trying to get his hands on Jones for almost an entire year. Despite juggling with the idea for months, the 37-year-old looks to have finally made his decision.
"Looks like Tom displaying that amazing UK wrestling," Jones said on X in response to Aspinall's grappling footage.
"My focus is on Stipe, he actually wrestled division one. Best heavyweight of all time as of now."
"Maybe Tom will go on and beat Stipe's record one day, [but] right now, I'm focusing on goat things."

The video in question shows Tom Aspinall struggling in the wrestling department against 41-year-old retired rugby player Ugo Monye.

Unfortunately for Aspinall, it looks like Jon Jones will be riding off into the sunset, win or lose against Stipe Miocic.
"I'm.37 years old now, I've kicked everyone's a**. My job is to finish strong and make an amazing movie."
"[I'll] go join Tom Brady, Floyd Mayweather, and all the other retired bad a**es."
In response to a fan discrediting Miocic, Jones all but confirmed that his last fight in the sport will be against the former UFC heavyweight champion.
"From my point of view, [beating Stipe Miocic] seems like an amazing way to finish this good work I started so long ago."
