Jake Paul and Mike Tyson's pre-fight press conference took a funny turn on Wednesday evening.

The two men came together to promote their controversial eight-round professional heavyweight fight, which will take place at AT&T Stadium in Texas on November 15.

Jake Paul attempted to steal the show by debuting his $200,000 'ear protector ahead of his fight with the man who famously took a chunk out of Evander Holyfield in 1996.

However, it was a former champion who caused the biggest stir at the press event.

Jake Paul offered fight with Tony Bellew's 'grandfather'

'The Problem Child' has developed a reputation for picking opponents who are much older than him, but his fight with 58-year-old Mike Tyson has caused a stir among fans.

It's become a running joke that Paul fights old people, and former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew took that gag to the level by wheeling out an extremely elderly man and offering him up as an opponent.

"Jake Paul, the biggest clown in boxing," Bellew began.

"If Mike lets you survive on [Friday] night, then I've got your next opponent for you here, Jake. If Mike lets him survive, I've got a great-grandfather – not a grandfather.

"This guy's got two new hips, he's 107 [years old], he's a great grandfather, so he's ready for you. Give this fella a chance. Come on, Jake."

Bellew's joke didn't quite hit the mark in the moment. The Creed star's mic wasn't powerful enough to reach the stage, so press conference host Ariel Helwani spent most of the speech asking, 'Is that Tony Bellew?'

Bellew and his pal were quickly ushered out of the venue – but his stunt has since gone viral.

Jake Paul plans to call out Canelo Alvarez

After beating one of boxing’s biggest legends, Jake Paul plans to face a current great.

The 27-year-old hopes to fight Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez for a legitimate cruiserweight world title.

"I mean I do (have something in mind for after Tyson), it's Canelo," Paul said on the Timbo and Sugar Show.

"I mean, this moment will prove that I'm the face of boxing, the largest attraction, and me vs Canelo at 200lbs for the cruiserweight championship of the world is the biggest fight arguably even bigger than me vs Tyson and it makes so much sense.

"You know, Canelo's on his way out, he's gonna want a payday and I want to show the world that all the s*** I've been talking about beating Canelo is true and I'll have the biggest upset in the sport of boxing and we'll fight to see who really is the face of boxing, I'm gonna be the new money man.

"The reason (he will want the fight) is he will want his, I guess it'll be his fifth weight division championship, he has wanted the cruiserweight belt, if everyone remembers, he was gonna challenge (Ilunga) Makabu to become cruiserweight champion.

"He wants to conquer that division to be able to call himself a cruiserweight champion and that's where the fight makes sense because I can't make 175lbs so this fight should be for a belt, and it makes the most sense at cruiserweight."
