Israel Adesanya gives Dricus du Plessis final warning after intense UFC 305 staredown

As expected, things got intense in the final staredown between Dricus du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.

The rivals are set to battle it out in the main event of Saturday's UFC 305 event at RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. Before they make the walk to the octagon to fight for the middleweight championship, du Plessis and Adesanya went face-to-face one last time.

Following the fiery faceoff, both the former two-time champ gave his closing thoughts to lead play-by-play commentator Jon Anik, sending his rival du Plessis a final warning.

"Thank you for being here, I have missed this," Adesanya said. "I will miss this, but when I'm in-between your eyes, I will not f*cking miss."

Du Plessis was given his chance to give his final thoughts, and compared Adesanya to the man he defeated in January at UFC 297 to win the title.

"Absolutely incredible." du Plessis. "I can't wait. The talk is over, and we saw what happened to the last man who acted like he was pointing a gun at me, he's called Sean Strickland."
