Israel Adesanya’s dietician poured Prime down the toilet despite fighter’s links to KSI and Logan Paul

On Saturday night, in front of a packed house at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, Israel Adesanya failed to reclaim his middleweight title against a relentless Dricus Du Plessis.

Despite showing flashes of brilliance, he ultimately succumbed to his rival’s formidable engine, losing via fourth-round face crank.

However, while the former 185-pound King ultimately failed in his quest, it didn’t come from a lack of trying from his dietician.

Jordan Sullivan went above and beyond to try and prepare Adesanya for the contest, documenting his client’s post-weigh-in journey via TikTok.

The video started with the MMA star enjoying a meal, with: “Israel Adesanya post UFC 305 weigh-in diet to regain 30lbs in 24 hours”, written on the screen.

The next clip shows a bottle of Prime Strawberry Banana, with the caption: “Rehydrate the fluid lost from the weight cut.”

However, rather than giving the drink to the athlete, a hand is seen opening the lid before pouring the liquid down the toilet.

The video is somewhat surprising, considering Adesanya is sponsored by the company fronted by KSI and Logan Paul.

Regardless, the warrior’s dietician decided to go a different route, revealing exactly what he gave the athlete to consume

He listed the following:

4L of Trainade Hydration designed for optimally rehydrating fighters

A 1L sports drink for liquid carbs

500 ml juice for more liquid carbs

1L coconut water for more liquid carbs

Protein pancakes with Nutella, maple syrup and coconut

Mini pancakes with berry compote, poached apple and cream

Homemade beef burger and salted kumara fries

Spaghetti bolognese

More coconut water

Watermelon to snack on

Buttermilk waffles, mascarpone, fresh fruit and maple syrup

Despite the effort, the Nigerian-born sportsman couldn’t get the job done on the night. But he still managed to break new ground.

Israel Adesanya makes history at UFC 305

Despite failing to recapture the middleweight thrown, Adesanya was in high spirits in the aftermath of UFC 305.

With a smile on his face, he headed to the press conference with a spring in his step to deal with his media obligations.

Rather than letting the result get the better of him, he sat down and cracked a few jokes for the journalists in attendance and the fans watching from around the world.

He even revealed that he made history on not just one, but two counts.
