Israel Adesanya seemingly involved in a road rage incident

On August 17, Israel Adesanya went head-to-head with his arch nemesis, Dricus Du Plessis, in an all-African grudge match.

During the fight, ‘The Last Stylebender’ showed glimmers of his brilliant best, landing a plethora of flashy shots. However, he ultimately succumbed to the relentless work rate of his opponent and lost via a fourth-round submission.

Three weeks following his spirited effort to regain his place on the 185-pound throne, footage has emerged, appearing to show the fighter involved in a heated road rage collision with a man wearing a hoodie and shorts.

Standing next to a black McLaren 720S Spider, the MMA star seems to shout: “I get paid for this shit, f*** off.”

The video then appears to show Adesanya putting up his middle finger before calling the man a ‘b**ch’. As tensions begin to grow, the driver steps forward and fires off his own inaudible comeback.

At this point, the former kickboxing star says: ‘walk away’, before insulting the man’s car, by saying: “Go drive your beat-up s**t.”

Undeterred by Adesanya’s comments, the other driver stood his ground and flexed his muscles, which prompted the MMA icon to respond: “I pray for you to try me.”

The clip then appeared to show Adesanya spitting at the man. What happened next is unclear as the individual filming the confrontation drove off.

Michael Chiesa wants Israel Adesanya to fight a very interesting opponent

While Du Plessis left UFC 305 with the championship belt, MMA fans across the globe are more curious than ever to see what Adesanya will do next.

While he’s lost twice on the bounce, it’s clear the fundamental skills that allowed him to the climb the mountain are still very much there.

Therefore, many are excited to find out whether he has the minerals to claw his way back to the pinnacle of the sport.

And Michael Chiesa has pitched the perfect opponent to see whether Adesanya still has what it takes.
