Professional Fighters League's (PFL) upcoming "Battle of the Giants" pay-per-view (PPV) event just keeps getting bigger. Per a press release, the promotion announced the addition of a Middleweight championship rematch between champion, Johnny Eblen, and No. 1 contender, Fabian Edwards.

Eblen (15-0) initially defeated Edwards (13-3) via unanimous decision at Bellator 299 in Sept. 2023. Since then, Eblen went on to defeat PFL's Light Heavyweight champion, Impa Kasanganay, while Edwards earned the rematch by defeating Aaron Jeffery earlier this month. The two were set to run it back at last weekend's Bellator London event before the news broke of its postponement. As a result, the women's Featherweight bout betweenLeah McCourt and Sara Collins was elevated to headliner, ultimately resulting in a quick submission win for Collins (see it again here).

"Battle of the Giants" will be headlined by a highly-anticipated Heavyweight title fight as former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 265-pound champion, Francis Ngannou, makes his promotional debut against division king, Renan Ferreira.

In the co-main event, Bellator's 145-pound champion,Cris Cyborg, will face off against Larissa Pacheco, who is not only the PFL Featherweight champion, but also won the Lightweight championship in 2022 by defeating Kayla Harrison. Kicking off the main card will be a 155-pound bout between former Featherweight champion, A.J. McKee, facing off against one of the biggest prospects in the game, Paul Hughes.
