Haney vs. Prograis took place Dec. 9 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif. Devin Haney (31-0) and Regis Prograis (29-2) squared off in the the main event. The fight aired live on pay-per-view on DAZN and PPV.com.

Devin Haney won the fight via unanimous decision (120-107 x3).

Round 1: Here we go, y'all. Main event time. Britney Holmes does the honors with the national anthem. Devin Haney makes the walk first. Massive opportunity at hand for the 25-year-old, who's moving up in weight in search of a second divisional title. And here comes the champ, Regis Prograis, draped in full voodoo regalia. He's been begging for a fight like this for a long, long time. Can he capitalize? Referee Jack Reiss is our third man in the ring. They touch 'em up and we're off. Prograis gauges distance by firing off a few jabs. Both men circling to their left. Haney smacks Prograis with a stiff left. Prograis jabs to the body. Nice exchange in the center of the ring from both fighters. Haney whiffs with a big right hand. Prograis showing great defense so far but Haney is certainly the busier fighter. Prograis goes head-body with his jab. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Prograis.

Round 2: Prograis goes downstairs with a slick combination to the body. Prograis wings a massive left that just misses, and Haney responds with a flurry. Dangerous aggression there for Prograis, who eats another left. Haney smacks Prograis with a combination, then backs up and pushes Prograis to the mat as Prograis charges inside. Round 3: Haney's corner likes what he did in there but asks their fighter to calm down and stick to the game plan. Prograis jumps out with an overhand right. Haney smacks him with a jab. Huge right hand drops Prograis! WOW! Lightning quick. That was beautiful. Prograis springs back to his feet and now we're cooking. Prograis is trying to stalk Haney across this ring, but Haney is dancing and picking his shots wonderfully. Haney measures his distance with his jab, then uppercuts to the body. Round 4: Prograis storms out firing his jab. Haney defends then unleashes with a slick uppercut to the body followed by a flurry. Haney seems to perfectly understand Prograis' distance right now — he's juuuust out of range every time Prograis throws. Prograis looks very uncomfortable now. Looping right hook connects for Haney. One-two for Haney. And again. Another Haney flurry closes us out. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. (39-36 Haney.)

Round 5: Prograis goes back to his jab, but whiffs on everything and eats a stiff counter for his troubles. Beautiful body work by Haney. Prograis' corner is calling for their fighter to stop following so much and start leading the dance. They're really frustrated, understandably so — this feels like it's already slipping away. Haney circles and fires off a quick one-two. Prograis whiffs again with and Haney responds with a hard counter to the body. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. (49-45 Haney.)

Round 6: Prograis pumps his jab but just can't close the distance. Oh, Haney catches Prograis with a monster uppercut! That landed but it could've been much worse if Prograis was a half-step slower. Prograis bangs on the body inside the clinch. Haney goes back to the body then wings a left hand into Prograis' temple. Haney stuns Prograis with a short right hand! Prograis is hurt! Haney takes his time and picks his shots. Prograis bleeding from his nose now. Haney is in complete control. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. (59-54 Haney.)

Round 7: Haney is feeling himself here. He rushes inside and just misses with a looping left hand. Prograis is offering nothing offensively at this point. Haney continues to work with his jab. Nasty right hand finds a home on Prograis' head from Haney. Haney is picking away with his shots, and most of them are landing. One-two from Haney. Cruise control. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. Round 8: Looks like Haney's left shoe is falling apart a bit. That's pretty much the only thing going wrong for him right now. Haney effortlessly catches Prograis with a counter left hand to the nose. He's just so fast. Back to the body for Haney, then Prograis eats a pair of stiff rights. Nasty uppercut connects for Haney, who follows with a blistering series of jabs. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. (79-72 Haney.)

Round 9: Prograis has no idea how to cut off this ring. The referee calls time and forces Haney's corner to cut off the piece of his shoe that's coming apart. That's pretty much the biggest adversity he's faced all night. Haney goes right back to work and he's picking this man apart. Monster right hand dazes Prograis! Haney is smelling blood now, but again he stays patient and picks his shots. The word "embarrassed" was just used on the broadcast to describe Prograis. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. Round 10: Prograis' corner repeatedly warns their fighter that he needs to show them that he's still in this bout. This one could be ending soon. Haney catches Prograis clean inside the pocket. Prograis has apparently landed just 10 percent of his punches tonight. That's nuts. This is a showcase for Haney, who circles left and slams Prograis with a right hand to the body. More of the same for Haney, and Prograis stumbles into the corner after missing badly in the final seconds of the round. Yeesh. The champ looks broken. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. Round 11: Prograis' face is a swollen mess. Haney darts inside then outside, connecting with a flurry. One-two from Haney. He goes to the body then goes back upstairs. Oh wow, beautiful defense shown by Haney as he evades a flurries then escapes back to the center of the ring. This is a masterclass. So impressive. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. (109-99 Haney.)

Round 12: Prograis corner implores their fighter to do something drastic. I'm not sure he has anything left in him, though. Prograis wades forward and misses with a combination. Haney evades again and blasts him with a right hand. Prograis awkwardly lunges forward with punches but whiffs on everything. That's all she wrote. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Haney. (119-108 Haney.)
