At UFC 310, on Saturday night, Alexandre Pantoja produced a masterful performance, submitting Kai Asakura in the second round.

And following the 34-year-old’s huge victory, there was only one name on his mind — Demetrious Johnson.

However, while the Brazilian’s call out of the best flyweight in MMA history, caught the attention of fans around the globe, their excitement was quickly diminished when DJ rejected the offer.

But while this upset those desperate to see the fight come to fruition, Johnson has given them a smidgen of hope after pictures emerged of him with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev.

'Khabib Nurmagomedov is not a real fighter'… UFC legend fires vicious shots at 'The Eagle'

During his career, Nurmagomedov undeniably carved his legacy in stone, walking away with a perfect 29-0 record.

However, even as brilliant as the Dagestani was, he still had his critics.

One UFC legend, in particular, is incredibly dismissive of what the former 155-pound King brought to the table.

He even went as far as to claim the Hall of Famer isn’t a ‘Real fighter’.
