UFC CEO Dana White is absolutely furious with the upcoming bantamweight title challenger Merab Dvalishvili for posting a video on his social media showing a bad cut he sustained in training ahead of UFC 306.
Merab Dvalishvili is just three weeks out from the biggest fight of his career thus far, as he is scheduled to take on bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley at the historic UFC 306 event at the Sphere, on September 14.
Tensions have been building between Dvalishvili and O’Malley and his team over the past few months, and the Georgian has even threatened to ‘smack’ Tim Welch, ‘Suga’s’ head coach.

Just three weeks out from their highly anticipated main event, ‘The Machine’ posted a video this past Tuesday of a brutal cut he has sustained in training, which has made fans nervous that the fight may even end up falling through.
Despite that, Dvalishvili attempted to reassure the fans that the fight would go ahead and that he wouldn’t be withdrawing because of a cut.
“Calm down – it’s all good – just a little training injury. Never pulled out of a fight – and never will! I’m coming for you O’Malley – stronger than ever. Vamos!” the Georgian captioned his post.
Although the 33-year-old attempted to offer reassurance, the champion couldn’t help but post that he is fearful of Merab pulling out.
“This little f*ckin rat better not pull out I swear to god,” O’Malley commented.

Despite Dvalishvili claiming that he won’t withdraw from the fight, UFC CEO Dana White is utterly furious with him for posting the video online, labeling him as ‘dumb’ and ‘stupid’.
“The whole world knows about Merab’s cut, he posted it, our guys are so dumb it’s next level unbelievable,” White stated during the Dana White’s Contender Series post-fight press conference this past Tuesday.
“All the stuff that I talk about boxing what I will give boxing is when something happens in a camp, let me tell you what, it does not leak. Our guys’ camp f*cking wait to throw it up on social media. It’s a small cut, it’s not a big deal but obviously needed to be posted,” he continued.
‘Suga’ is regarded as one of the most accurate strikers currently fighting in the UFC and this will likely give him even more confidence heading into their main event and will give him a target to directly aim for.
“And why the f*ck would you want (O’Malley) to know that. It is next-level stupid, some of these guys are so stupid it’s mind-boggling, it’s unbelievable,” White angrily commented.
