The upcoming Bellator Paris event — which was scheduled to go down inside Adidas Arena in Paris, France on Nov. 16, 2024 — has been cancelled. That's according to a statement released by Professional Fighters League (PFL) earlier today (Thurs., Oct. 3).

"Bellator Paris (Nov 16) has been postponed and fighters have been rescheduled for later dates," read the statement, which also added a small perk for the French fans who may be crushed by news.

"All previously purchased tickets for Bellator Paris have been refunded. Purchasers will receive a buy one get one ticket purchase opportunity for PFL Europe Championship in Lyon, France on December 14."

While no exact reason was given for the move, a statement provided on website for Adidas Arena didn't exactly give a ton on insight on the situation, either.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, the event was forced to be rolled out. We invite you to come closer to your point of sale for the reimbursement procedures to be followed," it read.

The event was supposed to feature a Bantamweight title fight as division champion, Patchy Mix, defending his title against Leandro Higo. In the co-main event, Baissangour Chamsoudinov (8-0) was lined up to battle record on the line when he battles Oliver Enkamp.

The only remaining Bellator event on the calendar is scheduled to go down on Dec. 31 inside Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, so you expect to see most of the matchups on that card.
