Veteran Journalist Edward Bowen Dies At 82

Long-time racing journalist and historian Edward Bowen passed away Monday, Jan. 20 at his home in Versailles, KY at the age of 82 according to a report from the Blood-Horse. The magazine's former Editor-In-Chief from 1987-1992 also spent 24 years as the president of the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation during a career in racing and journalism which spanned over 60 years.
