Which WNBA player you cheer for may actually say a lot about who you are.

WNBA Players are full of personality. They bring fashion, humor, intelligence, activism, and of course, talent to the court. And in this era of women's basketball stars being global icons, being a fan is more than just who wins and loses. It's about finding a player to support who looks like you, or has a similar background, or went to your college. Maybe you like their style, or just watched them once and were hooked.

Here is what your fav WNBA player says about you:

A'ja Wilson: You're a Girls' Girl

A'ja Wilson is fierce on the court, but seems like the kinda girl you want to hang out with off of it. If you were in line for the women's bathroom at the club, Wilson would be the girl you pour your heart out to, exchange Instagram handles with, all before she tells you to dump your toxic situationship.

Wilson is a leader on her Las Vegas Aces team, but also the entire WNBA. She's been spotted advising younger players on opposing teams mid-game, and rides for her teammates hard. She's turning into a rookie's dream veteran, a coach's dream player, and a player's dream teammate.

If Wilson is your favorite WNBA player, you likely have a great sense of style, are tough but loyal, and go out of your way to be a great friend and teammate.

Diana Taurasi: You're an OG

Diana Taurasi is a legend, and also one of the first WNBA players to transcend the traditional women's basketball crowd and enter into the mainstream. Over a WNBA career spanning two decades, multiple championships, an MVP award, and six Olympic gold medals, Taurasi left the court better than she found it.

She's a menace, an elite trash talker, but more than anything, Taurasi is a pure hooper. She got away with her playful antics because she was good enough to back her words up. She is also known for being tough on the court but incredibly kind off of it.

If you're a DT3 truther, you likely love to talk smack and are extremely competitive, no matter if you're playing for a championship or playing a game of checkers. True Taurasi fans have been around since her UConn days, and have seen the rise of women's basketball through many eras.

Breanna Stewart: You're practical and dependable

Since the day Breanna Stewart stepped onto UConn's campus, she's been a consistent winner. Four NCAA championships, three WNBA championships, as well as Olympic and World Cup gold medals. If you want to win, you get Stewie on your team.

She's the kind of player who just plays ethical, pure hoops. No matter if she's your highest scorer or not, she impacts the game in a variety of ways. Just being around her makes you want to win.

If Breanna Stewart is your favorite player, you're likely the "Mom Friend." You'll take care of your friends, give everyone a drink of water at the end of a rowdy night, and make sure they get home safe. When you win, everyone wins.

Napheesa Collier: You are strictly business

Napheesa Collier is one of the league's best players, and she often dominates in a quiet yet effective way. Before you know it, she has scored 30-plus points, grabbed a ton of rebounds, and even dished some assists as a forward. Yet, her game isn't all that flashy — it doesn't need to be — she just gets to work.

Collier is currently leading this season's MVP race, even if it's incredibly early in the season. She's had multiple 30+ point games to lead her Lynx to a 5-0 start on the season.

If Napheesa is your favorite player, you like to get down to business. You're a no-nonsense, skilled person who doesn't need frills to get your message across. Simple is often best for you. You still love a good time, but know that it doesn't take much to have a good time.

Paige Bueckers: You're a People's Princess

Paige Bueckers has been one of the biggest names in basketball since her freshman season at UConn. She came onto the scene as one of the most talented prospects in the game, and her story finished beautifully at UConn with a National Championship. She's a leader by example, someone who loves speaking up about issues she cares about, giving back, and hyping up her friends.

While her UConn teammate Azzi Fudd often gets called the people's princess, it's a term you can use for Bueckers as well. Bueckers is a media darling, well-spoken, wise, with a welcoming smile. She loves giving to others, whether it's on the court with assists, or off the court in her philanthropic endeavors. She loves the game of basketball and not only wants to be the best, but wants to use her greatness to make everyone else better as well.

If Bueckers is your favorite player, you ride hard for your friends and community. When you win, the whole team and city win with you. You never hesitate to do a favor for a friend, help a loved one out with a project, or use your resources to make sure everyone has what they need. If you won the lottery, you'd give some of the money to your family before you even thought about spending it on yourself.

Caitlin Clark: You're the leader of the group

Caitlin Clark rose to fame through the latter half of her college career at Iowa, making back-to-back NCAA Championship games before being drafted No. 1 overall in 2024. She's a player who instantly turns a team into a contender because she can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court, at any time. Those patented circus shots make her fun to watch, and she knows how to hype the crowd up and push her team to a win.

Clark prides herself on being a competitive winner, and she doesn't care if she has to do most of the work to get there. She just wants to win. Her big personality makes her a fun watch, and she has a talent for keeping games exciting.

If Clark is your favorite WNBA player, you pride yourself on being the leader. You know you have what it takes to win, and you have a vocal confidence that you back up with results. No one is getting in your way, and you are great to have around in high-pressure situations. You face challenges with ease and poise, and can problem solve like a boss.

If your favorite player isn't listed, don't worry — we will be back with part 2 later this week!
