Best DFS picks for Ravens at Bills in Week 1
07/09/2025 23:06
Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season continues on and we'll be treated to a rematch of last year's AFC Divisional round on Sunday night with the Baltimore Ravens visiting the Buffalo Bills. Baltimore enters as a slight 1.5-point road favorite, with an over/under of 50.5. The Bills, of course, eliminated the Ravens from the playoffs last season and this could be a preview of another postseason matchup this January as both teams try to break through as the top team in the AFC.
Below we will take a look at the best DFS plays for this Sunday night showdown.
Captain's Picks
Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens (FLEX $10,000, CPT $15,000)
Flowers missed last year's divisional round matchup against the Bills with a knee injury and would love to get a crack at them to open the season. The Ravens wideout stepped up as Lamar Jackson's favorite weapon in 2024, catching 74 targets for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns on the year. His 25.4% target share ranked 20th in the league last season, so there's upside and value for him as a captain.
Khalil Shakir, WR, Bills (FLEX $9,400, CPT $14,100)
Shakir was Allen's go-to option through the air last season, commanding a team-high 100 targets for 76 receptions, 821 yards, and four touchdowns. His 5.1 catches per game tied him for 16th-most in the league and he was well above league average in almost every other statistical category. Similar to Flowers, there's good value to stick Shakir into a captain's slot and build out a strong lineup from there.
Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens (FLEX $8,600, CPT $12,900)
Andrews has a shot at redemption on Sunday night after being haunted by his drop in the AFC Divisional round all offseason. He still factors to be a vital weapon for Lamar Jackson this season and his status as the top red zone tight end last year means that there will be ample scoring opportunities for the veteran when the Ravens break into the 20.
Value flex plays
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Ravens (FLEX $5,000, CPT $7,500)
Hopkins has arrived to Baltimore this season as another weapon that could help the team. Nuk is 33-years-old and while he most likely won't revert to his prime Texans days, there's still tremendous value here for his price in Week 1.
Ray Davis, RB, Bills (FLEX $3,400, CPT $5,100)
Davis is backing up workhorse James Cook once again and could get some carries in key spots for Sunday night's opener. He was extremely efficient in the red zone last season, taking 17 carries for 86 yards while scoring all three of his touchdowns inside the 20. He could be a savvy play for your lineup.
Charlie Kolar, TE, Ravens (FLEX $1,200, CPT $1,800)
With Isaiah Likely ruled out for Week 1 with an ankle injury, Kolar will assume the role as TE2 for Baltimore in the opener. The team ran the fifth-most 12 personnel plays in the league last season and was the most efficient in that grouping, so there should be opportunity for Kolar to get some targets his way.
