It is crucial to remember that opening the clubface slightly is not always necessary, even though professionals like Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino have stated they did so in order to hit a fade.

Another technique to hit a fade if you’re uncomfortable opening the clubface is to swing slightly over your aim line. Your swing path is the most crucial component of hitting any golf stroke, including the fade shot. In order to hit a fade, your club should strike the ball with a small outside-to-in motion, which causes it to fly left (for right-handers) upon contact. Once more, use caution because you will produce a slice if the clubhead enters from too far outside and cuts across the ball.
