The clubs that powered Jhonattan Vegas to the 2024 3M Open

Jhonattan Vegas ended a seven-year wait for a PGA Tour title at the 3M Open and his equipment is a mix of older and newer clubs.
From the tee, Vegas still favours the TSi3 from Titleist despite the club now being forced towards obsolescence by new launches like their new GT range of drivers and woods.
When it comes to fairway woods, Vegas favours the use of a 3-wood from TaylorMade released in 2019. He uses the TaylorMade M6 Rocket with a 14 degree head.
Vegas doesn’t use an additional fairway wood or hybrid, instead opting for a long iron to bridge the yardage gap between the M6 Rocket and his Mizuno MP4 irons.
For this purpose, Vegas turns to the player’s distance iron from Titleist the T200 in a 3-iron. The Titleist T200 Iron is among the more popular irons in bags as a single club with 11 players using one on the PGA Tour. Alongside Vegas, Byeong Hun An, Davis Riley, Chesson Hadley and Cameron Young have all put the 3-iron in their bag.
Vegas uses just two Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges opting for a 50 degree with the all-purpose F-grind and a 54 degree with an S-Grind. For his 60 degree wedge, which will be the most used of the wedges for most players, Vegas favours a TaylorMade MG Hi-Toe.
On the green, Vegas is one of a number of professionals to adopt a L.A.B. putter in the form of the Golf Link 1.
After he drained the final putt to win the 3M Open, Vegas celebrated with his family in a special moment.
"It’s even more special that they were here because a lot of times they’re not. It just means the world," Vegas said. "This is a big win for them and they’re going to enjoy it more than I am, for sure.
"That’s the beauty of golf, that’s the beauty of the PGA TOUR. No other tour in the world provides that. Any week can change your life forever, so just thankful the win came this week."
