Ping releases PLD Milled SE DS72 Hovland Edition putter

Norway’s Viktor Hovland arrived on the PGA Tour in 2019 having won the 2018 U.S. Amateur, been a star at Oklahoma State and been the low amateur in both the 2019 Masters and U.S. Open. With Hovland, accuracy off the tee and high-quality iron play was never an issue. But in his first season on the PGA Tour, he finished 115th in Strokes Gained: Putting (-0.048), and that won’t do.

Fast forward to this season and Hovland ranks 43rd in Strokes Gained: Putting. He has won six PGA Tour events, including the 2023 FedEx Cup, been a member of a winning European Ryder Cup team and won nearly $30 million in prize money.
