Jason Day among notables to miss cut at 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open

HOUSTON - Plenty of golfers came to Memorial Park Golf Course with dreams of hoisting a trophy, earning a Masters invitation or getting their seasons on the right track.

However, there are a few notables packing their bags and heading home for the weekend after missing the cut at the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open. With only one event after this week for golfers to get into the Masters and then the RBC Heritage, a signature event at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina, the time was now or never for players to make a move.

While some earned a weekend tee time, others are scratching their head. A total of 83 golfers made the weekend, with the cut coming at 1-over 141.
