Every golfer rewarded with a PIP Rankings bonus in 2022-23

The Player Impact Program (PIP), which was first introduced in 2020-21, is intended to reward players who create interest and income for the Tour.
As divisive as it is the PIP does help reward players who bring something to the tour other than elite performance.
The idea is to measure the beneficial influence that each of the sport’s top players has on golf promotion.
A $100m (£80m) pot is shared between the 20 golfers deemed to have made the most impact.
Rory McIlroy has received a $15 million (£12 million) payout after topping the PGA Tour’s Player Impact Programme (PIP) rankings.
Last season McIlroy topped the list ahead of Tiger Woods and Jon Rahm.
Despite extending his major drought for another year, the Northern Irishman won twice on the Tour this season and remains a significant voice and face of golf.
Before the stunning agreement between the Saudi-backed breakaway events and the Tour earlier this year, McIlroy had been an ardent opponent of the LIV Golf series.
His ascension to the top of the list comes just days after he revealed his intention to resign from the PGA Tour’s policy board, where he would be replaced by Jordan Spieth. Spieth himself occupies the fourth spot on the ladder and banked $7.5 million for his efforts.
Woods’ second-place finish on the list demonstrates the 15-time major champion’s continued impact over a sport he has dominated in terms of influence for decades.
The PGA Tour’s estimation of Jon Rahm is also an interesting one as rumours swirl that he could be the latest defector to LIV Golf.
Popular quartet Rickie Fowler, Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood finished in a dead heat, with each walking away with $5 million.
Hovland is the new boy among their ranks but is also a breath of fresh air for the PGA Tour.
The PIP rankings have their detractors among the tour with World No 96 Nate Lashley among those.
"How many golf fans actually know what the PIP on the PGA Tour is?" he wrote in an IG caption responding to the PIP rankings.
"Would love to hear from golf/PGA fans if they think this $100 million was spent well? There's 150-200 members of the PGA Tour and they just spent $100 million on 20 players. Seems a little ridiculous. Time for new leadership on the PGA Tour. This is an absolute kick in the face to the rest of the PGA Tour players."
