Donald Trump reveals which of his courses LIV Golf is headed to in April

LIV Golf is returning to Trump National Doral.

Donald Trump posted Friday morning on his social media site, Truth Social, that LIV Golf is returning to Doral in April. LIV was expecting to stay away from Trump-owned properties and did not list any Trump courses on its original schedule.

But with the event April 5-7, the week before the Masters, the preference was to play in Florida. LIV’s season-finale team championship was at Doral the first two years. The event will be in Dallas in 2024.

“TRUMP NATIONAL DORAL, in Miami, has just signed with LIV GOLF to host a Championship Tournament in April, 2024. The event they had at Doral in October was a major success!” the former president and Palm Beach resident posted.

LIV Golf has yet to make it official, though Golfweek reached out for comment.

The Saudi-backed league, though, will not be returning to Trump National Bedminster, where it held events in each of its first two seasons, and Trump’s course outside of Washington D.C., where it played a tournament in 2023.

For the second straight year, the season opens at El Camaleón Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico. That event will be Feb. 2-4.

The first tournament in the United States will be held the same weekend as the Super Bowl, at the Las Vegas Country Club in Las Vegas, where the NFL championship game will be played. LIV’s 54-hole events typically run Friday-Sunday but that week will be Thursday-Saturday.

Other U.S. sites included Houston (June 7-9), Nashville (June 21-23) and Greenbrier in West Virginia (Aug. 16-18).
