Can anyone play at ISCO championship venue Keene Trace Golf Club?

Keene Trace Golf Club provides members with 36 holes of premier golf and facilities in the rolling hills of Central Kentucky.

The Champion Trace and Keene Run golf courses are just 15 minutes from downtown Lexington.

Keen Trace is a private golf club, but they are quite accommodating when it comes to guests of members.

Keene Trace offers a distinctive club experience by combining two outstanding golf courses. Golfers of all ability levels are challenged by the immaculate course conditions. The stunning scenery and lovely horse farms in the backdrop provide an ideal setting for training or recreation.

Golfers may hone their abilities in their recently remodeled short game sections, which are fully stocked for practice every day.

Members can use the heated, covered hitting bays at the High-Performance Golf Academy during the cooler months.

Members can play golf at Champions or Keene Run seven days a week, with no interruptions.

Since they are an all-inclusive club, there are no extra costs for cart usage, greens fees or practice facility access for members.

Additionally, members are not required to meet any sort of annual food and beverage minimums over their standard membership fee.

Keene Trace’s Professional Golf Staff pride themselves in offering membership a calendar full of exciting golf events. They host numerous member events and tournaments every year.

How can non-members play Keene Trace Golf Club

Non-members of the club can play at Keene Trace, but they need to do so either as an accompanied guest or as a sponsored guest.

That is to say that you either need to play the course alongside a member with their invitation or play the course unaccompanied with a sponsorship from a member.

The Club requires guest charges for green fees, cart fees, and food and beverage to be billed to credit card or cash.

The courses

The Champion Trace course at Keene Trace Golf Club was designed by world-renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills.

The course was built in 1987 by Tom Heilbron, a former president and current member.

Although Arthur Hills has left his mark on many areas throughout the country, he is considered to have put a special touch on Champion Trace in the late 1980s.

Champion Trace has been rated as one of the best courses in the state of Kentucky since it opened.

If you don’t want the championship course experience you can always take in the scenery as you meander around Keene Run’s 208 acres, which are home to several horse ranches.

Large greens, broad fairways, and a distinctive signature Par 3 are features of this course. Bent grass covers the fairways and greens of Keene Run, a course that is meant for players of all skill levels.
