12 things Golfweek equipment guru David Dusek would buy on Amazon Prime Day

You won’t find anyone who is a bigger proponent of buying your golf gear in local pro shops and specialty stores than me. After moving to a small town in Connecticut in 2016, I asked good players I saw at area courses where they went for club fittings and service, and those places are where I have done nearly all my business for the last eight years.

There are times, however, when going online and buying gear is just more convenient, and since I have Amazon Prime, I can often save some money, too. I would never buy golf clubs on Amazon because I believe in custom fitting, and while the brand’s return policy is good, I like to try shoes on in stores before I buy them, so I don’t purchase footwear on Amazon either. Basic things that every golfer needs or uses, however, are another story.
