10 of the best players at the Masters over the last 5 seasons

The opening round of the 2024 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club is two days away, and players have made their way down Magnolia Lane to continue their preparation for the year’s first major championship.

Defending champion Jon Rahm, who will make his first major start since joining LIV Golf, is hoping to go back-to-back, but he’ll have to fend off a loaded field that includes world No. 1 and 2022 champion Scottie Scheffler, who has won twice on the PGA Tour already this season (Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship).

Rory McIlroy, coming off a solo third finish at last week’s Valero Texas Open, is hoping this is the year he completes the career grand slam and slips on the green jacket Sunday afternoon with a little help from his good buddy Rahm.

When predicting a winner for the Masters, course history matters just as much if not more than every other week on Tour.
