IBO Junior Bantamweight Champion Ricardo Malajika dropped Yanga Sigqibo three times on his way to an 11th round stoppage win. Malajika was the home fighter with plenty of pressure coming into the fight. The opening round saw both men trying to establish their jab. Malajika and Sigqibo connected with the jab, although the champion landed a solid left hook to edge a competitive opener.
