After wins against Ryan Meikle and Ian White, The Nuke was pushed all the way by World No.33 Ryan Joyce but came through in a last-set decider to reach the quarter-finals.
And the 17-year-old continued his good form in the New Year, cruising to a 5-2 win against Nathan Aspinall before demolishing fan favourite Stephen Bunting in Thursday’s semi-final.

Littler will return to the PDC World Darts Championship 2025 tonight as he takes on darting icon and World No.3 Van Gerwen in this year’s final.
The final is tonight and is scheduled to start at 8.00pm GMT.
Van Gerwen, a three-time world champion, has not won a major title this year but has shown glimpses of his very best in his run to the final at Ally Pally.
Having edged past Callan Rydz in his quarter-final, the Green Machine showed his class with a ruthless 6-1 win over Chris Dobey in yesterday’s semi-final.
The Dutch star is looking to win his first world title since 2019, while Littler could break Van Gerwen’s record and become the youngest-ever player to lift the Sid Wadell Trophy.
