Alexandra Palace will host one of the most anticipated World Darts Championship finals in history on Wednesday night as Luke Littler takes on Luke Humphries for the richest prize in the game.

The exploits of 16-year-old Littler have captured the imagination of the country, with record-breaking viewing numbers for his incredible run to the final.

It will be a huge audience that sits down to watch him in action on Wednesday against the new world number one and standout player of 2023, Humphries.

Littler has blown away all who stood before him so far at Ally Pally, but it seems unthinkable that he could do that to Cool Hand, who has won three major titles in recent months and averaged over 108 in his semi-final win.

Nothing has been beyond The Nuke so far on his World Championship debut, though, so we can count nothing out – and it will be fascinating to see how he deals with the pressure of the biggest match in the sport.

So, when is the final, how can you watch the action live on TV, and what are the bookies’ odds?
