A three-year-old Luke Littler fan has been tipped to emulate the world-beating star after showing off some impressive darts skills.

Stanley Price first showed a talent for the game shortly before his second birthday, following in the footsteps of his dad and granddad.

Stanley's dad Neil, 39, keeps a dart board in a shed in the back garden of the family's home in Wigan where the pair regularly play.

The prodigy, the youngest of four siblings, has his own board there on a lower base and another at his grandad's home.

Mum Rachael, 36, a personal assistant, said: 'He loves darts and we do encourage it because we can see how much he enjoys it.

‘We've taken him to the darts shop to buy new darts and a board and he watches it on the telly all the time.

‘His favourite players are Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler.

‘I’ve got four children and none of them ever threw darts at that age, it’s just his thing. He loves the game.’

Rachael took a video of the sharp-shooter displaying remarkable power for his age as he hit the target at the A1 80 darts shop in Bolton.

'People are shocked when they see how well he can play,' she said.

'He's so little and people wonder if it might be a bit dangerous but he's great with them. He knows what they're for, and that's it.'

Luke 'The Nuke' Littler, who turned 18 today, has set a sky-high bar, but Rachael is so impressed by her son that she believes he could one day even surpass the teenage sensation.

'Stanley could absolutely be the next Luke Littler, he could even be better,’ she said. 'For his age, he's brilliant now.'

Littler first picked up a dart at the age of 18 months before joining St Helens Youth Darts Academy around seven years later.

The wunderkind's extraordinary trajectory has included becoming the youngest-ever world darts champion earlier this month.
