Conor McGregor was left in awe after a shocking KO at BKFC 66.

A battle between Julio Perez and Devonte Jeffery promised to be a slug-fest.

But the latter found himself face-first on the canvas just five seconds in.

Perez – The Cuban Horse – went out on the attack from the off, landing a couple of wild fists.

Pre-fight, Jeffery, who had lost his previous bout with Jeff Janvier, promised to be quicker than his rival.

The irony, though, is that the fight was over quicker than a flash as Perez swiftly got a left-hand to strike Jeffery’s jaw.

That straightened up the fighter out of Florida allowing Perez to nail a devastating KO with his right.

And as Jeffery fell to the canvas a following left-hook from Perez ensured his fate was sealed.

Somehow, Jeffery bounced up quickly, despite hitting the deck face-first just after the broadcaster’s clock hit the screen showing 1:55 of the first round remaining.

But the referee saw sense and immediately waved off the brutal encounter after 13 seconds, which puts Perez at 2-0 in BKFC.

And Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship co-owner McGregor was just as stunned as the crowd by what he had witnessed in Florida.

On X he reposted a clip of the KO, captioned ‘Bruh’.

And he added: “13 seconds including the count. OUT! Bare Knuckle off to a wild start tonight in Hollywood, Florida! Watch now.”

The Notorious might have had other things on his mind while at the event – but the KO definitely caught his eyes.

On the night, McGregor was forced to respond to the news that Michael Chandler, the man he was supposed to face in his delay UFC return, has been handed a rematch with Charles Oliveira.

The news is a blow to the Irishman who hasn’t fought since a dramatic loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 which saw him break his tibia.

A bout with Chandler was postponed after McGregor broke his pinky toe, but they had still hoped to square off this year.

Now, though, with Chandler set to be on the UFC 309 card in November, The Notorious has been left without a rival for the foreseeable.

Although, in a press conference after BKFC 66, he floated the idea of a bout in the company he co-owns.

He said: "I've two fights left on my UFC contract," McGregor said. "My opponent that I was scheduled to fight has rescheduled another bout.

“I would love maybe an exemption, or maybe a joint partnership, Bare Knuckle-UFC, similar to McGregor Sports and Entertainment and Mayweather Promotions. Some sort of agreement where we can get busy.

“I need to be busy and right now I'm working to get there. So let's see what happens."
