Tyson Fury teases 'massive fight' for Deontay Wilder after shock loss derailed Anthony Joshua clash

Tyson Fury claims to have information about Deontay Wilder's fighting future.

'The Gypsy King' stopped Wilder twice during their three-fight series before his long-time teammate, Joseph Parker, beat the American knockout artist last year.

A fight with Anthony Joshua was signed, but 'The Bronze Bomber' suffered a shocking defeat to Parker, who dominated him for 12 rounds at 'Day of Reckoning' in December.

Wilder flirted with the idea of retiring from boxing in the immediate aftermath of his third career loss, but he later claimed 'I'll be back' in a video he posted on social media.

Three months on, there's been no update about his ring return.

Some fans were starting to wonder if the 38-year-old would ever fight again before Fury let slip that a comeback bout for his rival is currently in the works.

The WBC heavyweight champion stopped short of revealing who Wilder will fight or when he'll return, but he did suggest the man he won his belt from won't be taking a tune-up.

"I think he can come back, sure," Fury said during a media scrum.

"I think he's fighting again. I actually know he's fighting again, but I can't drop who and what date.

"It's coming soon. A massive fight with Wilder involved."

Speculation will now go into overdrive about Wilder's comeback opponent.

Meanwhile, Fury will enjoy his time in Saudi Arabia watching Joshua box his former opponent, Francis Ngannou, at 'Knockout Chaos' on Friday night.

The winner could face him in a big blockbuster showdown at some point in 2024.

Fury will first square off with WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in a historic four-belt undisputed fight on May 18 before a potential rematch is booked.

Eventually, one of them will be matched up with whoever emerges victoriously from Joshua vs Ngannou.
