Tyson Fury leaves GMB host in stitches with 'dad bod' diet for Francis Ngannou fight

Tyson Fury does not have the typical physique of a professional fighter, but that does not seem to matter in the ring.

On Saturday night, Fury will come up against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who looked absolutely ripped at yesterday’s press conference.

Whereas Fury is built a little bit differently, but he believes that is what makes him unique as a boxer.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain with Kate Garraway, Fury explained: “I embrace the love handles, the love handles are what makes me unique, it makes me a unique fighter to have my love handles.

“I represent all the fat people around the world, all the dad bods, all the chubsters. I fight for those people,” Fury continued, as Garraway burst into laughter.

And Fury’s diet could go someway to explaining his physique, as he revealed: “I always eat McDonald’s, marshmallows, beef burgers, KitKats, the lot.

“How do you think I maintain this body shape, you don’t think I eat salads and vegetables and stuff do you?”

But, this hasn’t stopped Fury in the ring up until now, as he has won every belt there is to win in the heavyweight division, as well as currently holding the WBC title.

And if he beats Ngannou on Saturday night, as he is expected to, then Fury will go on to a clash with fellow heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

This could see the first undisputed heavyweight champion crowned in the four belt era.

As for when it will take place, it is expected for December 23 or January early next year in Saudi Arabia, with the fight having already been signed.
