Tyson Fury asks Francis Ngannou to get his 'corey' out in crude joke at press conference

Tyson Fury was as charismatic as ever during the press conference ahead of his fight with Francis Ngannou, although he got a bit crude at points.

After the usual procedures of talking to promoters and managers were over, Fury took the mic and was as entertaining as ever.

Fury jokingly told Ngannou to get his ‘corey’ out on stage
As the Cameroonian smiled but unsurprisingly did not oblige

“You’re one good looking son of a b****,” Fury said as he stood up to begin his speech and pointed at the poster of himself behind him.

Fury continued by giving Ngannou credit for taking the fight, saying: “Everyone said he was an idiot to leave the UFC and now he’s a genius, he’s going to make $10 million!”

And the compliments continued as Fury said: “He’s a good looking lad, I do like him.

Although there was a touch of immaturity to Fury’s next comments as he said: “He’s [Ngannou] probably got a big corey.”

‘The Gypsy King’ then jokingly chanted: “Get it out! Get it out,” as Ngannou smiled and the room burst into laughter.

Fury then took a more serious tone, as he admitted he was not overlooking Ngannou and that he was in a 12-week training camp for this fight, whereas he only did six weeks ahead of his most recent clash with Deontay Wilder.

“There’s more riding on this than there ever has been before,” Fury said, as he promised that he will be the best he has ever been in this fight.

But, Fury’s serious tone did not last long, as he told Ngannou: “If you win I’ll walk across the ring, shake your hand and take you out for a beer.”

Fury suddenly remembered that the Cameroonian doesn’t drink, so added: “Alcohol free of course.”

As for Ngannou, he described the fight as fulfilling a dream, not just to be boxing, but to be fighting the man ‘at the peak of the mountain’.

A lot has been made of Ngannou’s devastating power in the build-up to this fight, but that is no good if he can’t land a punch.

So, he revealed that he has been working with his coach, boxing legend Mike Tyson, on his ‘delivery system’ in terms of how he is going to catch Fury with a heavy shot.

Ngannou also addressed the fact that he is being trained by Tyson, admitting that if it were Fury fighting anyone else then ‘Iron Mike’ would be supporting him, but the Cameroonian did jokingly add, “he loves me more than you.”

Fury and Ngannou clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 28 in the ‘Battle of the Baddest’.
