Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou both bring out MMA moves at public workout

Francis Ngannou showed Tyson Fury a taste of what he could face if he ever steps into the cage, and the Gypsy King responded.

The pair are set to meet in a boxing match on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia, though Fury has claimed he would be willing to switch sports in future.

Fury offered an elbow, a knee and a headbutt to the camera

For most of Wednesday's workout, Ngannou kept things serious and put his boxing skills on display.

The former UFC heavyweight champion is famed for his immense striking power, and has spent the past few months honing this ability for the boxing ring.

Ngannou smashed the pads and body belt of his trainer.

He also demonstrated his head movement by slipping shots thrown back at him.

And, at one point, he even jokingly launched a dramatic head kick in the ring.

Of course, Ngannou likely won't be trying anything similar on Saturday night, as he would be disqualified if he did.

When Fury emerged for his workout shortly after, it appeared as though he may have been watching.

The Gypsy King shadowboxed on his way to the ring, letting his incredible boxing talent be seen by all in attendance.

However, just before he climbed into the ring, he threw a mock elbow, knee and then headbutt in the direction of the camera.

Despite this, Fury himself told MMA Junkie this week: “This is a boxing fight and it's actually a proper boxing, sanctioned fight.

"So if he starts doing anything stupid, he'll get chucked out and disqualified. Game over.

“This is not a wrestling match, an MMA fight or a street fight. This is Queensberry Rules. The greatest sport in history.”
