Some huge news has been confirmed a short time ago for next month’s massive Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois Wembley Stadium fight.

A request had come in recently from Saudi’s Turki Alalshikh to the UK government to allow the fight to have an increased, record-breaking all time capacity of at least 94,000 people on the night.

As the demand for tickets for the fight and event has been off the charts.

Turki Alalshikh confirmed on X a short-time ago that the request has been granted formally for the mega fight by the UK government:

Some more tickets will now go on sale shortly after the news this Friday, 12pm like he says above.

Likely they will go very fast however.

September 21st, 2024 will now go down as legendary night not just in UK all-time sporting history but in all of sports history.

94,000 fans at least in attendance to watch the IBF heavyweight title fight is something out a movie, surely.

What a result for boxing fans in the UK.

These type of huge attendances for boxing matches have not been seen since the 1920s and 1930s.

Amazing stuff and what’s more the fight, and the card as a whole, match the occasion.
