Terence Crawford Gives His Take On Jaron Boots Ennis

The pound for pound number one Terence Crawford has big things lined up for him in 2025 but stopped to talk on another gifted fighter.

That is Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis of course — one of the most underestimated champions in boxing.

Per Michael Benson ‘Bud’ Crawford gave his take on him saying:

“Terence Crawford on Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis: “We’re in two different weight classes. As you’ve seen, he just turned down a fight with Vergil Ortiz at 154lbs because he said he’s still at 147lbs. I think Boots is gonna do tremendous things in the sport of boxing. I think he’s gonna potentially clean out the 147lbs division. And when he moves up, who knows? We shall see.”

Surely after his career is done Crawford would be a good fight commentator or analyst even.

Boxing is absolutely buzzing at the highest level now in professional boxing with the pound for pound roster more ferocious in competition then maybe it has been since the 1980s, or, maybe ever in fact.
