Ryan Garcia calls out Conor McGregor for bare-knuckle fight after his threat amid failed drugs test news

Ryan Garcia has taken to X to challenge Conor McGregor to a bare-knuckle fight after the UFC legend’s previous threat.

Garcia tested positive for the banned PED ostarine in two drugs tests he took the day before and day of his shock win over Devin Haney.

The news sparked a furious reaction from the boxing world with both Haney and his father Bill issuing emotional responses.

UFC legend McGregor was also angered, saying he was ‘disgusted’ and threatened Garcia to get his head together or he’ll ‘smash it in.’

However, Garcia doesn’t seem to fazed by the threat from ‘Notorious’ and responded to him on social media, seemingly calling for a fight.

“If I see Connor mcgregor I'm going to break your weak a** ankle You ran from being tested bc you were on Roids Roadhouse or ROIDRAGE FUDGE CONNOR CACA BRAIN,” he said in a post on X.

He later added: “Bare knuckle Let's f****** go CONNOR Winner gets your trash a** whiskey brand.”

Another post included a picture Garcia celebrating his win over Haney alongside an image of McGregor with his leg in a brace after his break in defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021.

“Its war on the mcgregors,” he said in the caption, with both sides playing their part in the war of words.

Garcia floored Haney three times in their April 20 fight before winning via unanimous decision.

However, questions have now been raised over his victory amid the news of his positive VADA drugs tests.

Ostarine, which is a selective androgen receptor modulator [SARM], helps build muscle mass, burn fat and increase stamina in order to assist athletic performance.

Garcia furiously responded to the news in a video, saying: “I came on here to address this bull-f***ing-s*** claim that I cheated.”

The VADA drugs tests results will now be investigated by the New York Commission, who could overturn the result to a no-contest.
