Lil Baby was performing his song ‘Pepper’ when cameras panned away from the stage and toward the ring which was sensationally coming out of the ground.

The retractable squared circle was hidden all night as an opening ceremony for Riyadh Season took place at the new Boulevard Hall stadium before Fury's fight with Ngannou.

Riyadh Season is a state-sponsored annual entertainment and sports festival, part of the larger Saudi Seasons initiative held since 2019 from October to March during winter in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Boulevard Hall stadium has a 26,000 capacity and will be the place to see Neymar's Al Hilal play their football matches moving forward.

All the fights on the undercard of Tyson vs Ngannou took place in a separate temporary venue that has been constructed outside and hosted the public workouts on Wednesday.

Immediately after Fabio Wardeley knocked out his bitter rival David Adelete in the co-main event, attention switched to the recently constructed arena.

Several epic performances took place before attention turned to the big fights countless celebrities had travelled across the world to witness live.

But it was the ring that stole the show as it took centre stage.
