Noel and Liam Gallagher have broken the internet in recent days with the news of their Oasis reunion in 2025.

The brothers have ended their long-standing feud which saw the band split after a backstage brawl in 2009, and are now finally reforming to end a lengthy wait for fans.

On Tuesday, they officially announced a run of 14 shows in the UK and Ireland for summer 2025.

In a press release, brothers simply said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

The new Oasis gigs are set to take place in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Their London shows are going to all take place at Wembley Stadium, where Liam Gallagher is already due to appear next month.

In June, it was announced by Saudi boxing chief HE Turki Alalshikh that they have booked Liam to perform three Oasis classics as a special guest during the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois ‘Riyadh Season Card’.

This will take place on September 21 at Wembley.

When this news was first confirmed in June, prior to the announcement of Oasis’ reunion, talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan jokingly invited Noel Gallagher to the fight in the hope of helping to settle the feud.

“It’s looking like a pretty significant event with Liam Gallagher going to perform at the fight,” Jordan said on a June episode of talkBOXING.

“It would be even bigger if he got his brother to come back and play on stage with him.

“Maybe I’ll drag Noel along as he came to the last fight. That would be a surprise. That would be a surprise if Noel was sat there waving at his brother, but that’s a different discussion.”

The fight night itself is set to be an interesting occasion with a stacked card headlined by the heavyweight world title fight.

Dubois will enter the fight as the champion due to an unusual set of circumstances.

In his last bout, he beat long-time IBF mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic.

This victory saw him claim the IBF ‘interim’ belt and take Hrgovic’s mandatory position.

After Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury to unite all four major heavyweight world titles, the IBF mandatory was due.

Usyk has agreed to vacate the IBF belt and will instead defend the WBA, WBC and WBO in his rematch with Fury on December 21.

Therefore, Dubois has been upgraded to become champion and will defend against AJ on September 21.
