Legendary kickboxer with 240 wins offers Conor McGregor a new fight career with bareknuckle offer

Conor McGregor is no stranger to getting called out and the latest fighter to do so is bareknuckle boxer Buakaw Banchamek.

The legendary Thai fighter has 241 wins on his record, as well as 24 losses, 14 draws and two bouts that ended in no contest.

And for his next clash he wants the biggest name possible and it doesn’t get much bigger than former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor.

“I’ve told BKFC I'd fight absolutely anyone under this new rule set, but it has to be a big name,” Banchamek told Beyond Kick.

“I’m ready to go to war with anyone. I want someone to really test me.

“My ultimate fight would be against Conor McGregor in a bare knuckle Thai fight.

“But, I wonder if McGregor would even take a fight like that against me. I doubt it.”

The Irishman has never said that he wants to fight in bareknuckle, but he did previously attend a clash between former UFC foes Eddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes.

And afterwards he squared off against bareknuckle boxing champion Mike Perry, as if they might fight in the future.

But, for the time being, McGregor’s focus remains on the UFC and he is expected to fight Michael Chandler next.
