KSI insists 'weird' and 'stupid' Conor McGregor embarrassed himself at Anthony Joshua fight

KSI believes Conor McGregor embarrassed himself after Anthony Joshua’s victory over Robert Helenius.
UFC legend McGregor made headlines for his antics at the O2 Arena in August while promoting his Forged Irish Stout.
The Irishman singled out YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, stepping into the ring and calling for a bare-knuckle fight.
Joshua was even forced to intervene as McGregor tried to confront KSI and took more digs at the internet star ringside.
“It was pretty weird if I’m being honest,” KSI told the Misfits Boxing YouTube channel.
“I think I had heard Conor saying that I can’t box and this and that, it was pretty embarrassing for him because AJ was like ‘nah nah, that’s my guy’ so he looked a little bit stupid there.
“But with Conor, clearly I think he wants a bite at the cherry, he wants a piece of the king and he understands that this right here is where the money is at.
“Everyone is a normal person at the end of the day, same as me just a normal guy and I treat everyone the same. Just because he’s Conor McGregor doesn’t mean anything to me.”
KSI will take on Tommy Fury at the Manchester Arena next month and recently told talkSPORT he would be open to fighting McGregor next.
'Notorious' hasn't fought since breaking his leg during a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, but is due to face Michael Chandler on his return, though no official date has been set yet.
