Joseph Parker scores stunning uppercut KO of Simon Kean on Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou undercard

Joseph Parker knocked out Simon Kean in incredible fashion on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.

The former WBO heavyweight world champion stayed active by picking up a quality win on the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou undercard.

Kean could not recover from Parker’s uppercut

Parker controlled the fight from the early stages.

He showed his experience by pressuring his opponent in round one.

Kean did not come to lay down though.

He fired back with occasional hard right hands which landed clean and caught Parker’s attention.

Unfortunately for him though, they were not regular enough to keep the New Zealander at bay.

In round two he hurt Kean, and the stoppage followed shortly afterwards.

Parker staggered Kean in the third and had him holding on.

When the pair broke apart, Kean beckoned his opponent in and called for more punishment.

This was not a wise move.

Parker hurled a huge uppercut which floored Kean and he was unable to get back to his feet.

The ex-champion is now 33-3 (23 KOs) and said he hopes to return in December.

"We knew Simon was going to step up to the challenge and he was tough until we landed a good shot at the end,” Parker said.

"We've got another fight in December, back here hopefully. I loved it out here and I want to get another win.

"I can knock anyone out."
