Jake Paul can't believe Conor McGregor got rocked by Nate Diaz as he names UFC legend as 'weakest puncher ever'

Jake Paul has surprisingly named Nate Diaz as the 'weakest' puncher he's fought.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer squared off against a fellow internet celebrity, a basketball player and notoriously shoddy striker in Ben Askren at the start of his combat sports career.

Paul has also shared the ring with two unknown journeymen and 49-year-old Anderson Silva, but he says all of them hit him harder than Diaz did last August.

The UFC legend got dropped en route to an eight-round decision defeat.

A rematch has been talked about ever since, but it doesn't seem to be happening despite Paul offering Diaz $15 million for a second fight under MMA rules.

'The Problem Child' was recently discussing his chances in the cage against Diaz with UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley, who worried about what would happen if the fight went to the floor.

However, he pointed out that Diaz is not that strong.

"He's the weakest puncher I've ever fought," Paul interjected.

"When he was hitting me, I almost started laughing. I'm not even saying this to talk s***.

"Out of everyone I've sparred in my whole entire life and everyone I've fought, his punches are the weakest."

Diaz rocked Conor McGregor before submitting him at UFC 196 in March 2016.

The 39-year-old, who will box Jorge Masvidal on July 6, also famously wobbled UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards during his rise to the top.

Just five of Diaz's 21 wins have ended by KO. Although he's not the most powerful striker, he has outboxed Donald Cerrone, Anthony Pettis and Michael Johson.

Paul doesn't get how anyone could have a problem with Diaz's power.

He added: "I'm literally not even talking s***, which is why I think it's funny that he dropped Conor and s*** because it's like, how?"

Paul will face off against another ex-UFC star, Mike Perry, on July 20 after Mike Tyson pulled out of their highly-anticipated fight.

'Platinum' scored 11 knockouts in MMA before transitioning to bare-knuckle boxing and becoming the 'King of Violence' with a promotion part-owned by McGregor.

Perry's 5-0 bare-knuckle record includes a decision win over Michael 'Venom' Page and stoppage victories against Luke Rockhold, Eddie Alvarez and Thiago Alves.

Paul will have to survive a chin check from the 32-year-old fighting arguably the biggest puncher of all time, Tyson, on November 15.
