The IBA the International Boxing Association have now regained control worldwide of amateur boxing as 2024 draws to an end.

The IOC (International Olympic Committee) and the French Boxing Unit had control of the Olympic boxing last summer in Paris 2024 during the games but they are garbage.

After their ramschackle mess show of an Olympics and a disaster for France in 2024 as a nation, the planet and amateur boxing is moving on from that Olympcis.

Now, the world of professional boxing and amateur boxing are showing all their support for the IBA at their latest conference in Dubai with Gareth A Davies reporting on X:

“Here at @IBA_Boxing conference in Dubai. @umarkremlev speaking at the opening and discloses £10 million prize money at World Championships in May 2025. Professional events were also launched last night. Understand there could be up to 20 ‘professional’ events globally in 2025.”

All the big names from professional boxing and amateur boxing are behind the IBA as they lead the future of amateur boxing that will, as per the above, have some professional boxing included.

Even the leading boxer in the world today, the best pound for pound boxer on Earth right now Terence Crawford has given his support for the IBA on Instagram:

That says it all.

Kudos.
