The ESPN+ USA PPV price has now been announced as $79.99.

This price point is not out of the ordinary for PPVs stateside, which typically range from $69.99-$99.99.

However, in the UK, PPVs are significantly cheaper and normally priced between £19.95-£24.95.

The TNT Sports UK PPV price for Fury vs Ngannou has not yet been confirmed.

But fans are reacting to the USA price, with one referencing a quote from Floyd Mayweather on social media.

That fan wrote: “As Floyd Mayweather would say, ‘Legalised bank robbery.'”

This is a quote Mayweather has used to describe his exhibition fights against overmatched opponents, for which he has been consistently earning eight figures since retiring from professional boxing.

A second fan simply put: “Holy moly.”

While a third said: “Ridiculous. A year’s subscription to Netflix for that.”

A fourth commented: “That’s a bit steep, jheez.”

Yet another fan insisted: “That's a bit overpriced but fair for Fury.”

One fan asked: “Who’s paying that much to watch an exhibition?”

To which one answered: “If you pay for this, you're part of the problem.”
