Francis Ngannou takes his shot at WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury this weekend.

Following a press conference for this weekend's fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, the African born MMA star spoke to the media about his expectations for the fight. Here's what he had to say.

Ngannou on how he views his competition

"The competition is tough, yes. But we are two men, we are going to figure it out."

"I'm very ready. At this point it's just recovery time. My training, my last real training was on Saturday and now we just keep training to keep the heart rate going and let the body recover for Saturday.

"He's a man like me and I can do it."

On what would be the next step after beating Fury

"To beat him again. Then beat somebody else."

On having Mike Tyson in his camp

"It was very helpful mentally, physically, technically. I mean, I do believe if I have one third of Mike Tyson's technique, I'll be the best boxer of my generation."
