With one major championship left, let's dive into what the current Team USA Solheim Cup standings look like.

Welcome to Playing Through's daily ritual — Golf Talk Today.

Each day, the crew will discuss various elements of the PGA Tour, LPGA, LIV Golf, and more.

Today, we're looking at the Team USA Solheim Cup points standings for the Solheim Cup on Sept. 13-15 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainsville, Virginia.

This week, the ladies are at the AIG Women's Open, the final major championship for the LPGA. It is a perfect time to look at where everyone is.

The last time we looked at the standings, Nelly Korda and Lilia Vu were the only two to have secured their spot, but now five ladies have. Ally Ewing, Allisen Corpuz and Lauren Coughlin join Korda and Vu on Team USA.

Coughlin won her second LPGA event this year at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open in Ayrshire, Scotland. She also tied for third at the Chevron Championship and solo fourth at the Amundi Evian Championship.

It has been a big year for the 31-year-old, as she is one of the hottest players on the Tour right now.

Let's take a look at the set roster and who sits in the standings behind them.

TEAM USA

— Nelly Korda
— Lilia Vu
— Lauren Coughlin
— Ally Ewing
— Allisen Corpuz

Team USA Solheim Cup Standings:

6. Megan Khang
7. Andrea Lee
8. Rose Zhang
9. Alison Lee
10. Sarah Schmelzel
11. Jennifer Kupcho
12. Angel Yin
13. Cheyenne Knight
14. Lexi Thompson
15. Marina Alex

The top seven players on the Solheim Cup points list automatically qualify, and the top two players on the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings who are not already qualified will be selected.

There will also be three captain picks from Stacy Lewis.

Rose Zhang and Alison Lee are the top two players in the World Golf Rankings.

For now, Megan Khang and Andrea Lee are No. 6 and 7 on the points list. This week at the AIG Women's Open will be massive because Zhang and Alison Lee are not that many points back.

Not to mention, Lexi Thompson, sitting at No. 14, is quite enticing. She has this week to perform well and get some extra points, but it would be hard to believe Lewis would leave her off this team.

Coughlin and Corpuz were the last to secure a spot before the qualifying period ends on Aug. 25. Lewis will announce the entire Team USA roster on Aug. 27.

The last major of the year will be one to watch because the ladies sitting on the outside will be looking to impress Lewis enough to get one of those picks.

Who do you think rounds out the Solheim Cup for Team USA?
